What is Okkto?
About Okkto
(/ˈok.to/ | awk-toe)
Founded by Eli Sasich and Patrick Thompson in June 2020, Okkto was born from our love for all things pop culture—combining our experience and backgrounds in the film industry, product design, and manufacturing. As collectors ourselves, we’re dedicated to making the kinds of high-quality collectibles we’ve always wanted to own. We only produce pieces we’re truly passionate about, and we take pride in our attention to detail and quality control. After all, Okkto was created by collectors for collectors!
At Okkto, we create exclusive collectibles inspired by iconic movies, TV shows, comics, games, and characters—through both our in-house team and collaborations with some of our favorite artists. We produce our own line of original creations, including limited-run items like watches, pens, replicas, pins, keychains, coins, magnets, posters, and more!
Sustained by a passionate collecting community, we’re always growing and adding new releases. Shop with us directly or through our distributor partners—and don’t forget to subscribe to our email list so you never miss a drop.

What does ‘Okkto’ mean?
Okkto is a play on ‘okto’ which means ‘eight’ in Greek. Why two ‘K’s’? Each ‘K’ has four points (2 x 4 = 8) representing the eight tentacles of an octopus. See how smart we are? 🙃 'Eight' is also in reference to the Eight Categories of Collecting™ that we have come up with:
- Apparel
- Art
- Doodads
- Figures
- Games
- Media
- Replicas
-
Toys
Likewise, our company mascot is an octopus – Oskar the Okktobot™ is a friendly and mischievous creature, and you can learn more about them here. Oskar's tentacles also represent the different branches of our brand as we grow... and we have some very exciting things planned. But more on that later—we wouldn't want to spoil all the fun right up front.
Community
The collecting community is vibrant, diverse, and exciting—and we’ve built a home for everyone. We want Okkto to be a destination for you, not just another brand.
Contact
In order to keep prices low, we don't operate a traditional brick and mortar storefront. Instead, we sell our collectibles online via this store, in partnership with our trusted retailers, and in-person at various pop culture and comic conventions around the United States.
