The P-51 Mustang was an American long-range fighter that flew in World War II and the Korean War. This pen is inspired by the “Red Tails” version flown by the Tuskegee Airmen – the first African-American military aviators in the United States armed forces. They were nicknamed “Red Tails” due to the red markings that decorated their planes. The pen barrel is acid-etched with rivets and exhaust pipes, with a stonewashed pewter finish for an aged look.
